A protocol is listed here only when its contracts are verified on-chain or confirmed by the team that operates it — nothing is listed on a guess. Entries marked verified were confirmed by the operator; observed means we found the contract and classified it ourselves, which is not a claim about who runs it.
Pools and smart accounts are created without anyone listing them, so two rules attribute them — and only on the chain's own answer. A pool belongs to a protocol when that protocol's factory, asked for the pool's tokens and fee, returns the pool's address; a contract that merely claims a factory is not enough. A proxy belongs to an entry when its EIP-1967 implementation slot points at the implementation listed for it. Both rules are published on each protocol's page.
